Kirsten heads up Employera’s Employer Brand practice. Previously head of Employer Brand for Glassdoor, she is a go-to industry pro for building, improving and managing your employer brand. A sought after speaker and influencer, her previous experience includes building and leading global employment brands for leaders including Visa, and eBay Inc. Before that she was managing supervisor at Fleishman Hillard and began her career in PR at Horn. Kirsten has a BA in Literature and Communications from Westmont College.
Angela and her team partner with executives, in-house recruiters, hiring managers and teams to improve talent acquisition strategy, interview processes, and selection decisions. She also provides workshops and coaching to improve individual and team recruiting and talent relations skills. Previously, she worked as a lead in- house recruiter and as a recruiting consultant for organizations including Minted, GuideSpark, PLOS, REDF and Room to Read. Angela has an MS in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and a joint degree in Psychology and Sociology from Oxford Brookes University.
Mariana and her team collaborate with clients on design-thinking strategies to increase engagement and create more meaningful candidate and employee experiences. She teaches design thinking and innovation at the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. Previously, she facilitated design-led business solutions for companies including Turner Broadcasting, and Nike Foundation. Before that she was a designer with architecture firm Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill (SOM). Mariana holds an MS in Industrial Design from ArtCenter College of Design, and an MBA from Claremont University.
James works with our teams and clients to get the most from systems, data and analytics, create strategy, execute programs and evaluate results. Previously, he was a co-founder of Atomic Public Relations, working with top brands on strategy, planning, and social media efforts. He was also co-developer of ComContext communications analytics software. Before that, he was CIO at Shafer, an award-winning advertising, PR and interactive agency. He began his career in the US Air Force, working on efforts related to intelligence, and space.
Andy works on employer branding and related management processes, positioning, messaging, PR strategy and executive profile building. Previously, he was co-founder of Atomic Public Relations, working with top executives of leading brands like Verizon, IMAX, Sony, Linkedin, Jobvite and Hirevue. He was also co-developer of ComContext communications analytics software. Before that, he was president of Shafer Advertising, and head of global communications for CalComp Lockheed Martin. Andy has an MBA from the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno, where he also received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
